"I would like to thank you for everything that you arranged for us today.
I have really been taken aback by people's kindness and help during our difficult week and know that [we] have had a huge burden taken from [our] shoulders by your help and it made a huge difference.
Thank you so so much! Haycombe is such a beautiful setting. Please extend our thanks to Steve who I saw on Monday with the paperwork and Martyn who helped us today.
I will definitely recommend your service. Very impressed and happy with your handling of our situation.
Once again, thank you so very very much for all of your help. "

"Just a short note to say a huge thank you to you personally and to the team for handling Mum’s funeral with such dignity and professionalism.
A close family death is never easy but it can be made easier when the stress of the funeral is taken off us. We threw you a fast ball with the time frame presented to us and you delivered. On behalf of the whole family we’d like to pass on that thanks."
"What can I say, thank you all for making P's farewell such a special and perfect, personal occasion. I had friends coming up to me all afternoon and evening saying it was 'the best' funeral they had ever been too!! So well put together. A brilliant, splendid funeral for P in every sense. To quote one friend 'It was a brilliant snapshot of their very full life.' Thank you all for bringing everything together."
"May I take this opportunity to thank you all for the extremely friendly and efficient service your company provided at a difficult time. As a family we very much appreciated the opportunity to decorate the wicker coffin with flowers, which Mum would have loved. The funeral itself led by Carol was moving and very well planned and executed. We had many comments from friends and family how lovely and appropriate it was. In addition, we thought you provided all this at a very competitive cost, so well done! It all made our grieving as easy as it could be under the circumstances."
"We would like to really thank you for all your help and support with mum's funeral and for making it as easy as it could be and for giving her the send off she deserved. Firstly, thanks for your kindness with Mum. We know that she was really well cared for and the Chapel of Rest visit helped us to see that she was now resting in peace. The flowers were beautiful, just what we had in our heads and many people commented on how wonderful they looked. Your funeral service has been impeccable - our first meeting, your uniforms and cars, others at the funeral commented on the way you led the service and commented on your professionalism. So thank you!"
"A very simply message to you all, Thank You. The feeling that I have now is one of happy memories and a sense of peace. Your caring way and delivery made this possible... every detail was perfect."
“I watched the Channel 4 Dispatches programme about funeral directors yesterday and was horrified. It made so incredibly grateful that we had you to help us when Mummy, F and Daddy died and so I wanted to write to you and tell you how amazing you are. Looking back on what was the most appalling period of my life I can honestly say I am not sure we would have managed without your help and support but, more amazingly, I look can back and see that the three funerals were perfect. At a time when our heads were a mess and life was almost unbearable your professionalism and understanding gave us exactly the funerals we wanted in all respects. In terms of helping us all deal with what happened you spending time with us and understanding what we wanted and making it happen was a huge help, and having watched that programme I just realise how special you all are - so I wanted to tell you in case you ever forget it! So thank you. Best wishes”
“Where do we start?? So difficult to find the correct words. We have to thank you all so very sincerely for making a very sad day for us and our family so well organised, relaxed and peaceful. My Mother, if only you have known her, would have been so proud, we are sure. For your friendship, help, advice and care, whilst making all the necessary arrangements prior to the funeral day were carried out to the letter and fantastic, which was so appreciated at this difficult time. Carol, you have worked hard and should be proud of your organisation, and together with your lovely daughter Sophie (such a nice person to meet) your Husband, and all others that helped make the day, although very sad, very successful, we cannot thank you enough.”

“We accompanied a friend to her Husband's cremation service not long ago - I cried again all the way through - having to be in that cremation again. But it also reminded me how, when your baby was cremated, you did everything for us. We didn't want to do anything except cry and get through that day and because you kindly arranged everything we were give time to take care of our grief. Thank you for supporting us and being yourself with us about it.”

"Since starting at Clarkson's earlier this year as a Funeral Director and Branch Manager for Saltford, I have worked within the company in a short space of time to move forward and join the team in Bath, working alongside Carol Spalding, stepping into the void that Alex Starkie has left since leaving the company. To me, being a Funeral Director is a lifestyle choice, not a job and having worked for other companies before coming to Clarkson's, it's nice to work in an environment that allows us to care for each family as individuals and in a caring and personal way."
